Primary Years

Online Book Club (Primary Years)

Our Book Clubs are run by informed and experienced teachers where small groups study books together and engage in lively discussion online. These sessions are perfect and accessible for everyone from book worms to reluctant readers.

Depending on the needs of the group, these lessons can be more formal and structured to help with reading abilities or more relaxed, incorporating comparisons to film adaptations, quizzes and more.

We ran a pilot scheme throughout the spring and summer terms of 2020 and the feedback we had was fantastic. All the students enthused about the texts they studied (Harry Potter, Northern Lights, and Good Night Mr Tom to name a few) and loved the very social aspect of the sessions!
